Blonde Book Nerd

Now before I start I want to point out that this book happens to be the first thriller I have read. Yes things that occurred in this novel were horrible, but that's it.I didn't feel for this what others may have, or will. I think I put it down to the fact my favourite genre of movie is horror/thriller and I expected it to present itself in book form just the same, but it didn't.Little things annoyed me. It would seem that the second someone new steps into a scene the POV switches onto them. I also noticed that sometimes when you thought you were reading the thoughts of someone, you were in fact reading them talking aloud, as someone would automatically answer them, without a question being asked. (I have no idea if that came across as making sense)I didn't really connect with any of the characters. Though I will say I'm a big believer in KARMA. What goes around, comes around. I didn't at all expect Alex to be a murderer. Nor did I like her thought patterns. The whole thing seemed a little far fetched to me
